About Unconvicted
Unconvicted started as a blog in January 2016, following House Bill 40 through the General Assembly day by day. When Governor Bevin signed it that April, the site became the first place Kentuckians could check whether the new law applied to them. More than a thousand people used that first version.
It is run by Brad Clark, a criminal defense lawyer at Clark + Harris PLLC in Lexington, who practices in state courts across Kentucky and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and who serves on the board of the Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Expungement cases are handled by Brad and by Dan Parker, also of Clark + Harris.
